What is the maximum sampling rate for the Digital I/O's on the USB-8451 ?

I am using the USB-8451 to read data through an SPI interface. My application requires monitoring of a 200uS duration interrupt signal to start the SPI communication. I am using one of the DIO lines to monitor the interrupt line. Can I use the USB-8451 DIO lines to monitor the 200 us pulse ?  The interrupt occurs once every 10 mS with a duration of 200uS and I am unable to read it every time.

If polling the DIO line isn't working out for you, may I suggest using a monostable (also known as a Pulse Extender) circuit, like the one described here.

This will stretch the duration of your 200us pulse to something more detectable (choose values below 10ms, as that is the time between pulses)
