Why can't I add NI PXI-6552 as a simulated DAQmx device?

I have DAQmx 8.0 and MAX 4.0. When I try to create a new NI DAQmx simulated device the NI PXI-6552 is not listed as an option.

Hi kphite,

The NI 6552 requires the NI-HSDIO driver to function.  NI-HSDIO does not currently support device simulation, even if you have the latest version of DAQmx installed.  At this time, none of the NI-HSDIO products can be simulated (654x, 655x, 656x).

Well, to be honest it doesn't help much. Thanks for the response though. I have the NI HSDIO 1.4 driver. I guess I'll have to wait for my 6552 to get here before I start writing code for it.
