Wiring cDaq 9172 /9401 counter - source wiring is pulse and gnd wires

I have a cDAQ 9172, with a NI 9401 module in slot 5.  I am trying to wire up a Veeder Root fuel counting meter up to it.  The meter gives me a 'pulse output' and provides such on 2 wires, one labeled Pulse, one Ground.

My question is - What pins would I use?  I presume the Pulse would go on the SRC pin, would the ground go on the COM pin, effectivley using pins 14 and 1 for the first channel, and 20 and 7 for the second?

Based on the pin assignments for the NI 9401 in the DAQmx Help that should be fine.  Ensure you reference PFI0 and PFI4.
