I have a system that sends data over a usb connection, and I want to connect it to a CompaqRIO FPGA. Is there a module for the CompaqRIO system for "usb input" or similar? Or is there some other way to handle this situation? Thanks,

Third time is the charm. Kept saying I was posting from another account.
There is no USB input module for cRIO, and the USB ports found on the chassis' is intended to be used to connect to USB storage devices, and not to read data over USB. It doesn't seem there is an out of the box solution for reading data that is being output over USB.

ok, Thanks. Do you know if the Serial I/O module (NI 9870) can work with a Serial-to-USB adapter?

Hey Hopcroft,
I haven't done this personally but as far as I'm aware, you should be able to use Serial-to-USB adapters with a Serial I/O Module. You would need a female to female RS-232 converter as well, since both the cable from the 9870 and the serial end of the USB to serial adapter are male.
