hardware script trigger without DAQmx

I have a waveform such as 1010101010. I already had a control for clock rate as the frequency of the signals. I want to change the time in between repetitions of a waveform, keeping the same clock frequency, but adding "dead" time between each waveform. The sample clock rate is from 50KHz to 4MHz. The repetition rate need to be between 10Hz and 100Hz. I need to create a hardware trigger to make sure the timing is accurate. I don't know what I can use to create the trigger, I have ni-scope, ni-sync, and ni-hsdio.

Thank you!

Hi Gordoo3,

What hardware are you using?  Why are you not interested in using DAQmx?  Is this a hardware limitation or personal preference?  This information will give us more insight into the issue.
