i have daq 6020E with traditional daq and have additional channels on it. how to make signal initiation program that make the addition channels work ?

Hello guys. i want ask for your help. i hope you can help me to solve this problem.

i have daqpad 6020E. that daqpad have 32 channel. the 16 first channels are not conditioned, and the 16 last channels are conditioned.

when i use test panel in measurement and automation program (from labview), it just can detect 8 first channel. the others can't be detected by the program. how can i set the program to make the other channels (24 last channels) work?

Are you sure about that channel count? According to this manual, you've only got 8 differential (16 single ended).

yes. i am sure. this daqpad has 32 channels, the first 16 channels is not condition and the last 16 channels is conditioned. that daqpad doesn't have conditional channel before (example : anti aliasing) , so my lecturer added some hardware to make signal conditioned. because of it, there are some addition channel (16 channels) to the daqpad and the daqpad become 32 channel. the main concept work of this daqpad is when we want to make signal conditoned, we just activate it in program labview. but when the conditional signal hardware fail, we just use the default signal (unconditioned signal). and the problem for me is, how to make the program that activate those channels ? thank you..

Hi Jojo,

As Dennis said, the DAQPad-6020E itself only has 16 analog input channels (8 differential).  If your lecturer added external signal conditioning hardware to the device which extends the channel count you will need to provide more information about the control signals required by the device to use the additional channels.  Your lecturer will probably have more details about the hardware if they custom designed it.  If there is a part number or data sheet associated with the external hardware that would be helpful.
