I have a similar problem. I installed Labview 7.0 and there was something in the program (somebody sent the program to run) that required 7.1. So we purchased that one for an expense and now it calls for DIO Port Config.vi
We installed NI-DAQ Legacy also but the said folder DAQ never appears. I got the zadvd.ll file from the internet but then some other error starts coming up.
How can I get DAQ folder in my Labview 7.1/vi.lib folder?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. We are a biology group trying to run a code given to us and find these things a little daunting, so kindly explain in layman's terms.

The installer must have put the files somewhere. The folder should be called DAQ and it would be located in the vi.lib folder under LabVIEW. Check your 7.0 folder or just use windows to do a search. If you still fail to find the files, try reinstalling.
You can confirm the installation worked by looking in MAX (Measurment & Automation Explorer) and expanding the software listing.
