is it possible to connect 2 IMAQ triggers parallel

I'm using IMAQ 1428 with Labview softwair and NI Imaq driver to generate a pulse which activates a laser (the pulse is sinchronized with a camera), and it works fine.
Now I would like to connenct two triggers  to the laser in order to generate more than one pulse in each frame.
The question is, can I connect the two triggers in parallel (connect the two BNC cables with a T connector  and connect the T to the laser)?
Might that result in damage to the card when one trigger is  "high" and the other is on "low"?

Hello,

It is definitely not recommended to tie two output lines together.  If you want to trigger the Laser from either one camera trigger or the other, a much better solution would be to us a logical OR gate.  Connect the two triggers to the two inputs and the output to the laser.  Here is a link to a website that lists a number of different 2-input OR gates from various companies: http://www.chipcatalog.com/Cat/578.htm  I hope that you find this information helpful.  Take care!
