Did you mean:

when performing pattern IO, what if I leave ACK low?

Will the board continously output data once the program start. I basically need board to start trasnferring data as soon as the program starts.
Any comments on this process?
Thanks

Hello,

With Pattern I/O, the ACK line is only used if you wish to configure a start trigger. If you would like to start the data transfer with the start of the program, do not configure a trigger. The following is an excerpt from the 653X User Manual:
"By default, data transfer starts upon a software command (the Digital
Buffer Control VI called by the DIO Start VI in LabVIEW and the
DIG_Block_In and DIG_Block_Out functions in NI-DAQ C interface).
However, you can use a hardware trigger to start, stop, or start and stop data
transfer. Trigger signals should be connected as inputs to the ACK1 and/or
ACK2 lines while in pattern I/O mode."
Please see the User Manual, p. 2-8 for more information:

Sean C.
