There are several examples that install with LabVIEW that will write spreadsheet files (specially formatted ASCII files) that you can open in Excel. Go to Help > Find Examples from within LabVIEW to bring up the NI Example Finder. Click the Search tab at the top right and type in spreadsheet. After choosing the spreadsheet keyword you should see a list of about 11 examples none of which use any toolkits.
