DMM RTSI cable

I just realized that DMM  (PCI 4070) has the RTSI bus in it, but with some odd connector (4 pin). My question is how can I connect this RTSI bus from DMM to other cards? Is there a certain cable for it, and if so, where do I connect it?

Thanks

Hi the_intern,

I am not aware of a specific NI cable for the interdevice connector of the 4070. You should be able to use a four pin ribbon cable to connect the 4070 to the corresponding RTSI pins on another device. Also, the KnowledgeBase Article you posted actually shows which pins need to be connected.

Please post back if you have any questions!

Do other NI PCI cards have that 4-pin connector. If they don't where should I connect DMM 4-pin ribbon cable to ?
So NI definitely doesn't sell that particular cable ?

Hi the_intern,

I'm not aware and haven't been able to find any other devices that use this 4-pin interdevice connector. Take a look at that KB you posted two posts above. It details where and how to connect to the 4070 to a RTSI of another device.

Have a great weekend!
