Keithley 2000 reports "illegal command option"

When using one of the Keithley 2000 functions that were installed with the driver (I took the one "for GPIB only"; the other worked even worse), I perpetually get the same error on the DMM display: +961 (DCC Mode IDDCO error). I can't even initializise the instrument.

Using the generic GPIB element with LabVIEW works, so the connection and setup seems to be okay. However, I need deeper functions that the generic driver doesn't offer.

i think to come along with your problem, i need a few more informations.
Can you communicate with the instrument (for example with Measurement&Automation Explorer)?
Do you have a better error code description?

I need version of: NI-VISA, LV, OS, Keithley2000 driver-version;

Hint: actual driver for Keithley 2000: Version 2.0

Sorry, I lost the path to my question. The problem was the "language" of the Keithley: It was not set to SCPI.
