NI DMM using software trigger for multipoint data

I get a time out when trying to acquire a multipoint acquisition (resistance measurement) using a software trigger with fetch multi point.

If you were to post or desrcibe your LabVIEW code, that would help me to troubleshoot the problem. This will help to determine if the timeout is due to software or a hardware issue. Can I ask how you are performing the software trigger?

I would suggest trying to run the LabVIEW example program Cont Acq Multiple Samples- SW Sample Trigger.vi and seeing if you still receive the timeout. If you do not, you might consider modifying this example program to meet your application's needs.
