diode measurement with IVI-DMM

Hello,

I'm using a PXI-4072 that I'm controling via IVI-DMM driver. I need to do a diode measurement but I can't find the function in IVI-DMM driver, whereas it is said in NI Digital Multimeter Help that this function is available for all DMM devices. Is this function available in IVI-DMM? maybe in a latest version? Do I have to use an other driver?

Do not confuse the IVI-DMM driver with the NI-DMM driver. The NI-DMM driver does have a diode measurement as shown below. The IVI-DMM does not because the the IVI Foundation has not added it to the DMM class. You can request they add it but the foundation is glacially slow. One option is to use the NI-DMM driver for the diode test but that negates the whole purpose of using an IVI driver in the first place. There are numerous instruments with functions that are not included in the class driver. You have to decide whether to stay with IVI or use the non-class functions.
