DDK support for the M-series DAQ's?

I'd like to run my PCI-6229 M-series card on a real time system using Tenasys' INtime real time software, but I need to develop my own driver. Can anybody give me an idea when, or if, the NI Measurement Hardware Driver Development Kit (DDK) will support the M-series cards? I'd prefer not to have to use more expensive, slower, and older hardware (i.e. E-series boards) to get the DDK support. Thanks.

Hi,

Unfortunately, like you said, there is no M Series MH DDK support as of now. Also, it has not been determined when this will become available. Your best bet is to look at the MH DDK site for the latest information:

http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/11737

Or, like you also mentioned, if you need this now you could use an E Series board. This are really your only two options right now.

I hope this helps, and have a Great Day!

George
