As Alan mentioned, there are a variety of instrument drivers available
from the NI Instrument Driver Network for your instrument, but none of
them will work with LabVIEW 5.0. I researched the possibility of
using IVI Drivers with LabVIEW 5.0, but it appears that LabVIEW 5.0 was
released before the IVI specifications were approved, so current IVI
drivers will not work properly with LabVIEW 5.0.
You can read about this in
this thread.
I would recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of LabVIEW,
version 8.0. This will give you the flexibility of using any of
the Plug & Play or CVI instrument drivers which are available on
our website, as well as a wealth of new features which are not
available in your current version of LabVIEW.
