I am trying to develop an OEM product using the DAQPAD-6052E. Due to NI not directly supporting the OS and hardware that I am required to use, I need to use the NI DDK as a starting point for writing drivers. I have as yet been unable to find a programmers reference for how the 1394 bus gets access to the PCI/MITE hardware interface.
I have found a block diagram which shows a 1394 PHY module and a NI firephli module on a DAQPAD 6070E, but I haven't been able to run down any documentation on the firephli (interface chip?), or how it may access the PCI/MITE interface.
Any help out there on this?
