There are specific VIs to write to the digital lines of the ELVIS. These differ from the digital VIs used to write to a DAQ board. Please try the ELVIS example "NI ELVIS DIO Write.vi" which can be found by going to Help>>Find Examples and searching for ELVIS.
If the ELVIS example does not work, first confirm your digital connections correspond to the digital output (DO) terminals shown in the
user manual on page 3-7. Once you have verified that you have the correct terminals, follow the instructions in Appendix B to check your fuses.
If neither of these suggestions help, could you provide some information on what voltages you see at the outputs if you write high values and low values? Does digital input and/or analog I/O work?
