Welcome to the National Instruments DAQ Driver Development newsgroup. This
group is intended to provide a discussion forum for developers and engineers
using National Instruments data acquisition hardware who are developing
custom drivers and appliations. Through the ni.com support site, this
newsgroup and other online tools, you have the opportunity to obtain
information and examples about our hardware and to ask question to help you
in the development of drivers and applications for operating systems and
platforms that are currently not supported by NI-DAQ and other NI drivers.
In addition to answering current questions it provides a mechanism for
recording this information and allowing new developers to browse the history
of the group for information
that has already been discussed.
While this is not a direct support channel administrated by the NI
Applications Engineering group, however, it gives you the tools to help and
support each other. You may alos use this forum to provide feedback and
information to NI about the needs for support of new operating systems and
for new features. We will also use this channel to introduce other upcoming
resources for register level programming and driver development.
