driver files, where are they?

Hi,

We are trying to create an installation package for our application, we would like to incorporate the NI driver into it.
The model is PCI-DIO-32HS.
Is there a way to incorporate the NI driver files only, without copying the entire CD1? (The CD is too big, it's about 627MB).
We don't need the LabView or any of the application in the CD.
Our application installation will be silent install.
The OS platform is WinXP SP2.

Thanks for your help.

Johwwy,

This question would be better placed and more quickly answered in the DIO discussion board.

Please check out this entry in the Knowledgebase for information on creating a silent installer.

The PCI-DIO-32HS uses Traditional NI-DAQ only, you can select to only include the Traditional NI-DAQ installation files when packaging for your customer, this will save some space on yout installer. If your application is written in LV, you also need to include LV Runtime Engine either in the application or the general installer.

We don't use LV, is the Traditional NI-DAQ package located at \components\TraditionalDAQ ?
How do I do the silent install?

Thanks for your reply.

That's the correct component to install if your application only used Traditional N-DACCA. To run the installer silently, refer to Christian L's post earlier, just specify which component to install to avoid installing all of them.
