The PCI-4551 includes signal conditioning internally, such as a programmable gain amplification stage as well as analog filtering. These features are described in more detail in the product specification document available here: http://www.ni.com/pdf/products/us/3sv417-420.pdf
Additionally, the BNC-2140 terminal block can be included as an accessory to the PCI-4551 to provide integrated circuit piezolectric signal conditioning.
