DAQ Assistant is not arecognizing the DAQ unit (Iotech Personal DAQ/56) that I am using to acquire thermocouple measured values

I am trying to acquire data from a thermocouple (which is basically sensing for temperature changes in a motor) using an Iotech Personal DAQ/56 unit for

acquiring data. The DAQ unit works with it's own software DAQview (downlaoded from the iotech website- I don't have the DAQ unit driver cd with me).

But the DAQ Assistant of Labview doesn't seem to recognize the DAQ unit on configuration.

You seem to have posted to the wrong forum. this board is for the NI DSA products.

In any case, The DAQ Assistant, all of the DAQmx functions, and MAX are for NI products only.
