This is actually an error in the documentation of the USB-9233.  The DAQmx driver does return calibrated, scaled data from the device so you don't have to do this yourself.  Sorry if this caused any confusion.  We'll get this fixed, thanks for pointing it out.

The USB-9233 comes already calibrated from the factory when you purchased it.  Currently, we do not have a calibration procedure in Calibration Executive for performing a detailed calibration on the device.  If you want, you can send the USB-9233 to NI to have a basic calibration done.  For more info on calibration, check out: http://www.ni.com/calibration

FYI, in the calibration list price doc (http://www.ni.com/pdf/support/us/calibpricelist.pdf), the USB-9233 falls under the C Series module section.
