Hi Everybody,
I have to use NI PXI-1000B chassis and I want to make a sound and vibration analysis.
I intend to use PXI-4462 or PXI-4461 and built them into the NI PXI-1000B.
I found a solution on the NI site, where NI PXI-1000B is working together with the "Dynamic Signal Acquisition" device PXI-4472.
The solution is: Measuring Underwater Radiated Noise with PXI and LabVIEW
the link is: http://sine.ni.com/cs/app/doc/p/id/cs-385
According to the NI PXI advisor I can not use NI PXI-1000B and any of the "Dynamic Signal Acquisition" devices working together.
NI PXI advisor does not allow me to use even PXI-4472 together with NI PXI-1000B.
Is it possible that PXI Advisor does not work properly?
or
What other device should I use instead of "Dynamic Signal Acquisition" device and build it into NI PXI-1000B. The sampling rate should be at least 204.8 kS/s.
Thank you in advance,
Vassil

Although the PXI-1000B chassis have been verified to operate within specification, there is enough noise on the power supply to cause extra noise to appear on the analog output channels of DSA devices.
National Instruments recommends using a newer chassis with more efficient cooling, such as the PXI-1042/Q.
