How to find out that the card in a given NIDAQ slot is a DSA card?

Bryan, thanks for the response. I've looked at DAQmx and intend to include DAQmx support in my applications because of anticipated new hardware that will only be supported in DAQmx and not traditional NIDAQ; one of the things that I'd like to see added an easy way to determne whether the hardware supports either one or both of these hardware interfaces, information that is currently available only by reading the readme files for each NIDAQ version. Currently I have the further problem with DAQmx in that there is a problem with using DAQmx in a dll to be called from a Delphi application; this has already been submitted to R&D. The main other problem is determining the gain list for the device since my applications require setting the device gain f
or each measurement which is not convenient for customers to do in a commercial application.
