Is the NI-9233 module ICP compatible?

I have a VibraMetrics M3000 three-axis accelerometer that I would like to connect to an NI-9233 IEPE module.

VibraMetrics says the accelerometer is an ICP type NOT an IEPE type.

Is this ICP acceleromter compatible with the NI9233 module?

"IEPE Standard ... Other brand names for the same principle are ICP®, Isotron®, Deltatron®, Piezotron® etc."

I end up calling ICP IEPE and IEPE ICP at times.  Someone out there thought that would help add confusion Smiley Very Happy

yes, it should work perfectly for that sensor.

The vibrametrics data sheet reads:

Power Requirements 15-30 VDC

Current Regulating Diode 1-6 mA cc

ICP, IEPE, Isotron, etc is a brand names for the same constant current (cc) requirements, typically from 2ma to 10ma.  A constant voltage is also required, typically around 20V DC.  The 9233 and 9234 provide 20V DC and 2ma constant current source.

We expect the 9233 and 9234 will work great with the vibrametrics tri-axial accel.
