From NI 4461 Spec we can find the Idle Channel Noise of 4461 AI under the gain of 30dB. I'd like to know how to measure this parameter of 4461 AI. Some tutorials say it is test when the input is grounded, so I can connect the positive port of one 4461 AI channel to the ground,but how about the negative port? Where is it connected?
I also want to know whether this method is correct to test Idle Channel Noise.
