Resize width of frequency graph on Project Documentation view

I just installed the Labview Sound and Vibration 9.0 on a 64-bit Windows 7 PC. Now when I try to widen the frequency graph window only the handles drag out wider. The view remains the same size. how can I widen the view? Is this a 64-bit driver issue?

In what control/VI/example were you trying to resize "the frequency graph window"? In order to help you better, please provide details as to the steps to reproduce and the observed behavior.

As per the readme, Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite 2009 VIs fully support 64-bit platforms. Both LabVIEW 2009 and SVMS 2009 documentation indicate support for Windows Vista/XP/2000. Windows 7 had not yet released when the LabVIEW 2009 Platform released. LabVIEW 2010 and SVMS 2010 specifically add support for Windows 7, and all later software versions support Windows 7. If possible, upgrade to LabVIEW 2013 and SVMS 2013 as these are the latest releases with support for current operating systems, new features, bug fixes, and greater longevity of support.

Doug, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I had a problem connecting to the site.

My issue can be reproduced by doing the following:

Launch "LabVIEW SignalExpress 2009"

Select "Add Step" - "Create Signal" - "Create Analog Signal"

Click on "Project Documentation" Tab

Drag and drop the Sine Wave to the "Project Documentation" screen

Click on handle on rightside of the graph and drag it to the right to widen the graph.

My results are the handles move to the desired location but the graph remains the same size.

Let me know if you get the same results.

The issue is not your software, I have a different version of signal express and I have a similiar behavior. What happened. I could drag the rightside of the graph a little bit, let's say I could expand the graph a 20%, after that, I experienced the same behavior as you, when I drag the border, the graph does not increase its size. It is its behavior.

In SignalExpress 2013, I was able to drag the graph to a maximum width of 6.5 inches. Further attempts to drag the graph larger resulted in an extended semi-treansparent image during the expand drag, but the image snapped back to 6.5 inches wide when I released the mouse. I was also unable to set the selected graph object size to anything bigger than 6.5 x 6.5 inches using the dialog found at Documentation>>Set Object Size.... The dialog lets a user set a larger size, but again, the graph snaps back to the maximum allowed dimensions. I do not know of a workaround to this limitation in the Project Documentation in SignalExpress. You could export the data, and then generate a custom report in DiaDEM, LabVIEW, Excel, ...

Note, the graphs in Data View can be expanded as wide as your screen(s).
