Hi,

Im trying to find a pattern in e.c.g Signal.

I would like to be able (in offline) to indicate two points on the ecg plot and then i will serach for this section througout the signal

A search known as auto correlation of a time\voltage series

Is there a function in LabView 7.1 to do so? i would like to create a subVI for using it in other llb as well

Many Thanks

How do you intend to indicate two points on the ecg plot to search for/through? Are you interested in using graph cursors or numeric controls?

Do you mean you intend to search for a specific pattern throughout your signal, which you will specify beforehand? What format is your signal coming in as? Waveform, array?

Thanks for the prompt response.

I intend to have graph cursors indidate the pattern search through the all signal. The seach should be done on both waveform and an Array

Thanks

Amir

An Autocorrelation VI is available in LabVIEW at the following location from the block diagram:

All Functions >> Analyze >> Signal Processing >> Time Domain.

This VI is not a available in the base package of LabVIEW. If you have LabVIEW 7.0 or above, there is an Express VI called Convolution and Correlation available from the Signal Processing Express palette.

Many Thanks, Jarrod.

I'll play with it, hope it works 🙂
