Welcome to the forums! Typically instruments powered by batteries are floating source and instruments powered by wall plugs are referenced to ground. However, the microphone that uses the power supply plugged into the wall could be floating as well. This depends on the internal circuitry of the microphone.You will want to look in the microphone's user manual to see if you can find any information on this.
