multiple kind of signal acqusition in a single task

Hi every one

Am using DAQ 6280 and SCXI 1125 modules to acquire 3 kinds of data, temperature, voltage and current,
I was thinking is it possible to acquire all the channels as voltage and then convert each of them in to thier respective engineering units. am using the following terminal blocks

scxi 1328 for temp.
scxi 1320 for voltage.
scxi 1338 for current.

what is the range i should use to acquire all the channels as voltage will +5 to -5 be OK and is this method valid?

Thank you for the reply

Hello Arun.

Thank you for contacting National Instruments. You don't have to bring them all in as voltages, you can have multiple kinds of analog input readings in one task. If you can't do this, I recommend upgrading to NI-DAQ 7.4. In MAX create a task for the SCXI 1328 temperature channel. Then add a voltage channel by clicking on the button that looks like a folder and selecting voltage. Then do the same for the current channel. The ranges are different per channel and should be the smallest range that will encompass your signal. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day!
