Description
Testing can be done in various environments that sometimes may not be safe for operators to interact with the environment. By following this tutorial and downloading the .llb below you can add Custom Workspace Tool to NI VeriStand to monitor multiple cameras that are connected to the test computer and have been configured using MAX and the NI IMAQdx software.
Hardware:
Any USB, TCP/IP, or Firewire camera compatible with the NI IMAQdx software.
Software:
Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX)
LabVIEW 2011 SP1 or newer
Veristand 2011 SP1
NI IMAQdx
The tool will wait for user input. The user must either select a camera or press the stop button. If a invalid or unconfigured camera is selected the tool notifies the user and continues to run to reselect a configured camera.
