Overview

This software performs the calculation and the simulation of the screw Eigen Value. It allows the user to set many types of values (radius, density, axial force, constrain type, section type, etc) and modify them as the program runs.

Description

This VI is designed to perform calculations and simulate the screw Eigen value. You can change many parameters, including Material Density, Length (mm), constrain type, section type, and axial force. If you want to activate the simulation, turn on the "Simulate" switch and enable the switches on the bottom left to view a simulation based on your input parameters.

Steps to Implement or Execute Code

  1. Extract the contents of the ZIP file into a folder.
  2. Open "EigenValue Analysis.vi". The VI is set to immediately begin running.
  3. Change any of the parameters to see the EigenValue results change.
  4. Enable "Simulate" to activate the Frequency, e=x/l, and Time charts. The switches on the bottom left will activate them with the simulation.
  5. To exit the program, click on "EXIT".
