Overview
This program allows you to set up a triggered counter output. In this particular example, the trigger is set to start on a digital edge from a PFI line, and the counter is set to output a pulse of a user-specified time.

Description:
This VI sets up a triggered counter output. The first part initializes the card and sets it up so that the counter output can be restarted. When a user wants to generate a counter output based on a trigger at different times in the program, the Run VI can be used as long as the task has not been cleared.
The total time, i.e., the high time plus low time of the counter output cannot exceed the timeout for the Wait Until Done function. If this happens, an error will be generated.

Steps to Implement or Execute Code:
To implement this example:

  1. The example is set to run on the counter 0 (ctr0) of the DAQ Hardware
  2. Run the VI
  3. (Optional) Turn on the Highlight Execution to see the flow of the VI

To execute this example:

  1. Install the required software.
  2. Connect the DAQ hardware that supports the Counter features
  3. Confirm the connection with the MAX with TestPanel
  4. Open the VI and refer the Implement Steps
