Overview

This example VI shows how to measure the pixel height in an image.

 

Description

This example shows how to measure the pixel thickness of a particle. It outputs the number of vertical pixels by measuring with the IMAQ Edge Detection VI.

 

Requirements

 Software

  • LabVIEW Base Development System 2012 (or compatible)
  • NI Vision Development Module 2012 (or compatible)

 Hardware

  • No hardware is necessary to use this example VI

 

Steps to Implement or Execute Code

  1. Download and open the attached file
  2. Run the program

what is the method to find thickness of paricular object in an image acquired from camera using ni vision?

I want to quantify the thickness..

Can anybody help me with this??
