Overview

This example demonstrates how to ping another device from a Linux or Windows system.

 

Description

The VI will ping any IP address and return text in ping results.


Requirements

 Software

  • LabVIEW Base Development System 2012 (or compatible)

 Hardware

  • No hardware is necessary to use this example VI
  • (Optional) Run the VI on a Linux cRIO

Steps to Implement or Execute Code

  1. Enter IP Address from a device in the network.
  2. Run the VI.
