Functional Description

This VI´s shows, how to read the absolute Encoder Position from the BaumerIVO-Encoder (GBAMH) with the National Instruments CANopen Library.

#1: Set the Baudrate of the CAN Device in MAX, same as set at the Encoder (DIP-Switches) (for example 125kBaud)

#2: Open the attached Project

#3: Choose SDO or PDO Example

          SDO: Easy example, done for a single value.

          PDO: More advanced, but possibilities for higher transfer.

#4: Set the appropriate Interface, Baudrate nad Node ID

#5: Run the Example

Thanks for posting! Could you please add a screenshot of your code? Also, please rename your attachment to include the LabVIEW version. "_lvXX.zip" would be fine.
