Overview

This is an example of how to password protect a tab control, which would be useful if an administrator wanted to restrict access to particular controls.

 

Description

Here is an example of how to password protect a tab control. This would be useful if an administrator wanted to restrict access to particular controls. 

 

Requirements

  • LabVIEW 2012 (or compatible)

 

Steps to Implement or Execute Code

  1. Run the VI.
  2. Input the correct Password and User(the initial values are password and user, can be changed in Block Diagram) and click Enter.
  3. If the password and user are correct, the Password Protected Tab page will be enabled and display the user.
  4. If the password and/or user is incorrect, it will pop up a prompt dialog and stop the VI.

A word of advice: before you upload some work of yours, try to clean it up a little bit. Your diagram doesn't follow good programming techniques (especially wires running from right to left).

Although your idea is nice.
