Hello, I’m a Junior class programmer for the Canadian Valley Technology Center SeeHawks. I only have two months of experience editing in labview; however, I have some background in programming. I need one of two things:
A) Can someone point me in the direction of a tutorial that runs over adding things to the dashboard?
B) Or, could someone just explain to me how to add my own readouts to the dashboard?
My goal is to place indicators on the dashboard when certain events occur, preferably as Boolean lights and strings, but optionally as user messages. I’ve tried to use the Dashboard Write User Message VI, but it didn’t respond correctly in the driver station program (Developer) or the drive mode (Driver). I want to add an indicator for the compressor state, and work with Opto-encoder data (verifying their operation, and viewing their data whilst the robot is running). Any help?
