The activation code I was sent by email will not activate my 2009 version of Lab View.
I get the following error “These activation codes do not correspond to any of the products you are activating.”

Thank you for contacting National Instruments!
Did you have any prior version of LabVIEW installed on your machine? (Prior versions installed on your machine may cause unwanted issues with your FTC software, however, do not uninstall
Did you install using the FTC disks that were sent out to you?
What is the email that you are referring to? You should be able to activate LabVIEW 2009 using the serial number that came with your install disks. If you are not able to activate using this serial number definitely let me know and we will try to determine why.
The more information that you can give me regarding the situation the better I will be able to help you (serial number, versions installed, disks used for the install, screenshots of the license manager, etc).

I did not have any prior version of LabVIEW installed.
I was installing it from the disk I was shipped with the FTC robot.
My serial number M73X35828
I was sent this activation email:
Product: LabVIEW Student Edition 2009
Version: 9.0
License Count: Not Applicable
Activation code: NH8M-V8HG-8LDQ-9MJ8-WF68
The activation code above was generated with the following serial number and for the following computer:
Serial Number: M73X35828
Computer ID: T66W-QYKQ-8F28-PL97
I called the activation help number and they could not figure out the problem and asked me to post on the community site.

Hello,
I have verified that your serial number works on my computer for activation. During the activation process have you tried to just activate your software using a secure Internet Connection (this will not work if your machine is not connected to the internet so please let me know if that is the case):
Then you will be prompted for your serial number:
Continue through the next few activatin screens and in the end you should end up with a successfully activated version of LabVIEW:
Again, let me know if you have already tried this or if you do not have access to the internet. Can you verify that the Computer ID you have listed in the email is correct (you can get this from the NI License Manager after clicking the Display Computer Information button).

Is the serial number you provided (M73X35828) the one that is on a sticker on the DVD sleave for the FRC 2009 software?

I have the software activated. The activation wizard was trying to activate additional software that I did not need to activate. Thanks.
