Can NXT be loaded with FRC LabVIEW

I uninstalled all NI products and installed FRC LV from DVD.  In doing so, I lost my NXT LV.

Is it safe to install NXT onto FRC LV under XP?

Are you talking about the MINDSTORMS NXT application, or the NXT toolkit for LabVIEW?  Currently R&D is investigating possible issue and conlficts with having multiple version of FIRST software installed in one system.  We hope to have recommendations and an installation procedure documented as soon as possible.

I am talking about the NXT toolkit that we used for the LabVIEW training sesions that NI put on for the FRC teams.

It should not be an issue to install the LabVIEW NXT toolkit into the LabVIEW FRC package.  If you do have any trouble installing or using the VIs please let us know.

I tried to use NXT Toolkit with the FRC version of LV.  The training we recieved for NXT was on a trial version of LV, v.8.6.  The FRC version is v.8.5.  I have been unable to use the NXT Toolkit due to the error that the .vi was used in v.8.6.  I have mass complied and only some of the functions, etc. seem to work.  I tried to use the sound .vi and I received the error about newer versions.

Any suggestions.
