Changing DIO Module to Slot 6

Hey all.

We're trying to change the DIO Module from which the motors run to slot 6 instead of slot 4. I have tried going deep into each vi to change each control to slot 6, but some revert back to slot 4 after the program is run.

Any ideas?

Each of the open VI should have an input that allows you to choose either slot 4 or slot 6. You shouldn't have to dig deep into each VI to change it. Slot 4 is the default if unwired, which may have conflicted with your deep changes.

Did you try specifying slot 6 to the open VI? What VIs didn't work when you did that?

In general, it's bad to make changes to the library VIs because they will be overwritten with the next update.

I have tried specifying slot 6 to each of the relevant open VIs. (Un)luckily, the real cause of my problem was the cRIO just being broken; I sent it to NI to check after nothing worked.
