Overview
The attached LabVIEW VIs show how you interface your roboRIO with a PIXY camera.
Description
This example shows how to communicate with the PIXY using either the I2C or SPI protocols. You will have to configure the PIXY using PixyMon before running these examples. Wiring instructions between the camera and roboRIO are included on the Front Panels of the Pixy I2C and Pixy SPI VIs.
Hardware and Software Requirements
PIXY (CMUcam5) Camera and PixyMon
roboRIO with installed LabVIEW for FRC software
Steps to Implement or Execute Code
1. Configure the PIXY to communicate using either I2C or SPI.
2. Open the corresponding example VI and follow the wiring instructions on the Front Panel.
3. Configure the SPI or I2C controls on the VI Front Panel.
4. Run the example.
