FIRST Robotics Classmate Help!

Hello,

We are on a first robotics team and are using NI's Lab View to program our robot. The classmate that FIRST has provided for us has difficulty with wireless communication. For example, the wireless has to be configured after every restart. Sometimes we can manage to get by with just "Repairing" the IP address on the classmate but that only works about 30% of the time. Not to mention that when we are logged in as Driver it doesn't like to connect, when it’s most important. There have been some instances where, when we are deploying code or already have already had code deployed; the connection to the robot was lost without any human intervention. It does things unexpectedly and we need help.

Hi Cody,

Have you made any changes to the Wireless Router?  What happens when you use an ethernet cable to connect directly to the Wireless Router?  If you disable the Local Area Connection, do you get better results?
