Recieve error 60 when imaging

Well I solved the problem.  It had to do with McAfee Security Firewall and Windows 7 Firewall settings.  Windows 7 has several types of firewall profiles (domain, private, public) each with different access policies. McAfee Firewall takes control of the settings, but doesn't control all the profile policies the same way. Connecting the cRIO with the crossover cable caused Windows 7 Firewall to think it was connected to a public network and applied the appropriate policy which only allowed outbound traffic of certain types (not UDP which apparently was occurring from the cRIO to the computer as part of the imaging process). I ended up having to uninstall McAfee and disable the Windows 7 firewall to successfully image the cRIO.  So now the immediate problem is solved.  Now I have to see about properly configuring security and the rest of the network for the development environment.  I'll keep the forum posted on other networking/security nuances as they occur.

Hi k4molo,

I'm glad to hear that you were able to get your cRIO imaged and I apologize that you have had so much trouble thus far. I hope that your post here will help other people who are having similar issues, particularly with Windows 7 since that is not officially supported. Good luck with your robot!
