Hi all,
I`m from team 1578, in israel.
I`m trying to get the camera working but nothing works. i get the same vi problem in the dashboard(from many other disscussions here).
I tried everything you said here, and checked everything - the camera is working when i enter it;s ip address on my browser, and check around 5 times i did everything in the manual under the camera configuration part. I also tried the install-uninstall-install, twice, but still - nothing...
And of course, all other code works (robot is running perfect)
maybe myproblem is the crossover cable? How can i know if im using a good cable? im using the same cable im using to connect between my classmate and cRio(which works fine).
Is there anything i should check again? Any other idea?
Should i wait for the next dashboard update or something like that?
Thanks to everyone wholl try to help!

Mori1578,
Hello! What is the IP address of your Camera? (It should be 192.168.0.90) Also, have you added the FRC user to the camera?

ok.. so maybe i got the username and password wrong
what should it be?
we have the camera from last year and i can see it has two usernames, both have admin rights (or something like that), one called FRC (from last year, didnt touch it) and the second is root.
the "root" password is "admin", like they said, but i dont know what the FRC's password.
as i see in the manual, they say that at least one should be there to work, so isnt the root one enough?
if not, what should i add?
Thanks!

Mori1578,
The setup should be:
Manual Configuration of the Camera
The username/password combinations that work with the default code are shown in the table below. As long as at least one of these users is configured, the camera initialization software will work.
User name FRC
Password FRC
root pass (Axis default, must be changed)
root admin
FRC FRC
So, your FRC account's password should be FRC. Does this work?
My camera has both accounts, I can test just one of them if you'd like me too, however, having both would be good as well.
