Wind River not authorizing Workbench license on install

Looking for help from NI/WR/FRC.  Wind River installation gives a "license autorization code you entered is invalid" error when securing the temporary activation .  Code is as pre-populated from install disk.

WR licensing directed me to NI.  NI resources/help department for FRC is not currently staffed and suggested that I post here.

Is it possible that WR has stopped activating new software installs?

I am not sure if Windriver has closed down their activation servers, but this sounds like the regular Windriver licensing error that used to occur on machines that had the same name as one already licensed or containing spaces in the name. Try the documentation listed below and let me know if this resolves the issue.

Thank you Eric.  Yourr solution was right on targat!  I guess 'Matt" was not a very unique computer name.

Up and running with updates.  FYI, the 3.1 update links have been repaired if anyone needs to download it.

Sorry for missing the January blog post explaining the solution.
