Hi,
We are a rookie team and when we were imaging the cRIO, we always got an error saying that it could not image it and that we format and turn off safe mode. we reformated and turned of the safe mode but the same error pops up. What is the problem? Any help would be great thanks.

Hello,
I believe that this behavior is addressed in the manual but I don't have it in front of me at the moment.
You should be able to image the cRIO if you flip the Safe Mode dip switch to ON and then hit the reset button. This will boot the cRIO into safe mode. Once it has booted up, flip the Safe Mode dip switch back to OFF. This will allow you run the FRC cRIO Imaging Tool.
If you still see errors after this, can you take a screenshot of any errors that you see and post them here? With that infomation we can help you troubleshoot further.
I hope this helps! Have a great day!
Thanks!

Hello,
We are still having that problem. This time, when it asks us to format this it says "Formatting CompactRIO Device..." but it never leaves that message. Here is the picture.

Formatting the cRIO takes a few minutes. Are you seeing that this message stays up for longer 5 mintues?

Hello,
Yes in fact before the update, it would image fine then we updated, now it dosen't work. In fact, we left it running for about a 15 minute time span and still did not format.

Hi x0220,
Which update did you install? Was it the LabVIEW 2.0 update?

You picture shows image v10. The latest is v19. Either you didn't install the right update, or it didn't install correctly.
