downloading into permanent memory

The manual tells you that you can download to the c-Rio so that a program is in permanent memory, but I can not locate the instructions for doing so. Can you please tell me where to find it?

Are you trying to load the VI into memory so that it starts when the cRIO-FRC boots?  If so, take a look at this tutorial.
