The links from FTC Toolbox - finally take you to this page:
https://forums.ni.com/t5/FIRST-Tech-Challenge-Documents/LabVIEW-Software-Setup-for-FIRST-Tech-Challe...
This page contains the FTC Toolkit 2011-2012 for Labview. It requires that you
download and previously install LabVIEW for LEGO MINDSTORMS and then download
and install the FTC Toolkit to get all required competition software and
updates.
I am unable to find LabVIEW for LEGO MINDSTORMS. If you have this link can you
please send it to me.
Thanks
Supro

Just getting back into checking the FTC forums, but thought I would throw in my 2 cents incase you haven't gotten an answer to this yet.
My understading (someone from NI can correct me if I am wrong) is that LabVIEW for NXT is actually licensed through Lego Education, not NI. So the only way to get this software is to get it in your FTC kit or purchase from Lego Education.

This link also has a download for the LVLM for FTC Teams:https://forums.ni.com/t5/FIRST-Tech-Challenge-Documents/LabVIEW-Software-Setup-for-FIRST-Tech-Challe...

Will LVLM be updated for the 2012-2013 season? Will the FTC Toolkit be updated too? And the FTC Teleop/Autonomous Template? Or do we just use last year's stuff, from these old links above?
There are no references that I can find for updates or that updates are even coming. But the norm is for updates for every previous FTC seasons. Last year all 3 were updated significantly (a huge improvement). The FTC competition kit shipped to me this summer had last year's software components.
I would rather start the FTC season off on what we need to use, not last year's. But last year's will work fine if that is indeed what we will use this year. I just need some guidence

Hey benmcl,
LVLM and the FTC toolkit will be updated for the upcoming season (look for the downloads to be updated towards the end of this week). Mostly bug fixes and small changes but I would still recommend waiting until that is available to install on your machines.

That is good news! Do you know what version of LabVIEW this will be supported in? I am having trouble with my LV 2010, LVLM and FTC Toolkit.

Hey Steve,
The toolkit will still be LabVIEW 2010 SP1 (Chris actually just forwarded me your email). Can you post a MAX Technical Report (https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q0000019hceCAA&l=en-US). I would start by seeing if LVLM works without the FTC toolkit installed. I haven't ever seen an instance where it says the NXT Module is not installed - does that come up as a dialog or do you just not see it on the palette? Did you have the full version of 2010 SP1 installed before LVLM? Did you have an older version of the FTC Toolkit or NXT Module installed on the machine already (Pre-LVLM days)? If you go through the install process again I would download LVLM from here: https://forums.ni.com/t5/FIRST-Tech-Challenge-Documents/LabVIEW-Software-Setup-for-FIRST-Tech-Challe... run that and make sure it works before installing the FTC toolkit.

Kevin,
I have uploaded my report to the ftp site. So I have a fresh install of LV 2010 SP1. Then I installed LVLM 2010 f3. The FTC will not actually install because of this error, it is a popup from the installer itself. I now don't beleive that LVLM is installing correctly because I cannot switch my target to NXT. It looks for a file, finds it then just goes back to My Computer target.
I am downloading the ISO you pointed me to and will try that next.
Thanks,

Hey Steve,
I don't see anything obviously wrong with the MAX report. Let me know how installing from the download goes.

Kevin,
Looks like your ISO did the trick. I guess it helps if you have the right installer.
Thanks,
-Steve
